Being of help
if you want to help, help
if you want to help, don't harm
if you want to help, respect
if you want to help, accept
if you want to help, be there
if you want to help, be there as you are
if you want to help, feel how you feel
if you want to help, accept your feelings
if you want to help, accept your limits
if you want to help, be transparent
if you want to help, give yourself time
if you want to help, care well for yourself
if you want to help, seek help
if you want to help, learn from mistakes
if you want to help, listen well
if you want to help, try to understand the situation in all its aspects
if you want to help, imagine yourself in this situation
if you want to help, feel with the person
if you want to help, express those feelings
if you want to help, figure out what helps somebody with those feelings
if you want to help a suffering person, be compassionate
if you want to help a vulnerable person, show your own vulnerability
if you want to help an alienated person, believe in her
if you want to help a lonely person, be there as long as you can
if you want to help a sad person, give comfort
if you want to help a scared person, be a save haven
if you want to help a fearful person, encourage him
if you want to help a shy person, appreciate her
if you want to help an insecure person, acknowledge his abilities
if you want to help a lost person, find a way
if you want to help a doubtful person, be clear
if you want to help a person under pressure, relieve her
if you want to help a person who feels locked-in, free him
if you want to help an inapprehensible person, understand him
if you want to help an angry person, stay calm
if you want to help an aggressive person, find out what is really needed
if you want to help a hurt person, say sorry
if you want to help a threatening person, trust her
if you want to help a person who doesn't respect others’ limits, make your limits clear
if it doesn't work, try again
if it still doesn't work, try harder
if it still doesn't work, try to find somebody else who could be of help
and if this didn't work either, be self-compassionate, too

If you want to be you, be you
inspired by Cat Stevens/Yusuf Islam, but even more by life, as it seems to me
if you want to be you, be you if you want to be loved as you are, love others as they are if you want to find yourself, work on finding yourself if it's hard work, work hard if it takes time, take your time if you want your own life, live your life in your own way if you're too scared to trust others, trust your intuition if you hear voices, listen to your inner voice if you're too shattered, build yourself a solid home if you're too torn, feel your common ground if you think too much, feel more if your thoughts are moving you too fast, move your body slowly if you think you don't do enough, do nothing if you don't know where to go, take your dearest inner values as a compass if you need healing, try to be healing to others if you want to be handsome, be healsome if you long for someone's hand, start holding your own hand for a long while if you need a protecting rock by your side, carry a stone in your pocket and trust it if you feel lonely, stay alone, wait and wait and see if you need an embrace, don't forget to embrace your pain if you want to grow, be humble if you want to do things perfect, start to love mistakes if you want to be taken seriously, start playing if you fall, stand up if you're desperate, think about your vision if you have no clue how to go ahead, remember what helped you in the past if you feel ashamed, be compassionate if you need help and nobody provides it, sit and pray, no matter whether you believe or not if you want to sit in the forest and listen to the birds, listen to the birds if you want to run through the forest an listen to your music, listen to your music if you want to work, work if you want to play football, play football if you'd rather be a cricketer, be a cricketer if you want to make yourself up, make yourself up if you want to stay in bed, stay in bed if you want do protest, protest if you want to change circumstances, gather with others and do it together if you want to give up, search for something else if you want to meet someone who is different, meet the difference in that person if you want to change the world, accept the world as it is if you love somebody, leave her all freedom if someone is scared of you, trust him if you want to be really happy, really try to be really happy really often if you want to be happy together with others, make others happy if you want to become a good physician, become an excellent listener if you want to be a good therapist, teach yourself dancing, too if you want to be a good philosopher, become authentically spiritual if you want to live in a castle, live in your room like a king would do if you want to be a good leader, increase the number of people you serve if you want to write a book about life, live your life on a lot of different pages if you want to become a good actor, stop every acting and start feeling with others first if you want to have a flexible body, feel your blocked joints and your stiff muscles if you want to dance well, feel the music and let it dance with you if you don't want to eat alone, invite someone if you like chocolate too much, renounce it for a month and then start to love it if you can't say no, feel yourself afterwards and then set your limits for the next time if you haven't got a gift for a long time, look into the eyes of somebody you're surprising if you want to be a good christian, learn from muslims, buddhists, jews, hindus, atheists, agnostics (and everybody else) - and vice versa, too if you want to be a good human being, search for your true nature and be it if you want to find God, look for the good in everything if you think God wouldn't accept suffering, transform your suffering into understanding if you then want to believe in God, think of what you experienced doing this - and then try to imagine what it means that God is all-encompassing and eternal - and remember at the same time how small you are if you want to be you, be you if you want to be Steven, be Steven if you want to be Cat, be Cat and if you want to be Yusuf, be Yusuf but if you want to be Catherine, then be Catherine if you want to be the best you can be be you in the best way you can and encourage others to do it as well

Strong enough
Strength lies within our limitations
deep inside
there is an openness
undestroyable
Strength is eternal
even when we seem powerless
Strength can be found in surrendering
instead of giving up
Strength is trusting
in life as it is
Strength means believing
in our inner values
Strength is standing upright
against all odds
Strength wants us to go ahead
on the path which feels true
Strength is connectivity
jumping across divides
closing gaps
building bridges
Strength is always there
when we really want to find it
